If you are a student, faculty or staff, wanting to borrow or take a tool/material from the Makerspace, you must log it in the form above. Filling out this form helps us keep inventory, gauge the needs of the students, and replenish stock accordingly. You DO NOT need to fill out this form if you are using equipment within the lab space.

This is not an extensive list of materials available at the Makerspace, and we encourage you to come check out the library before you purchase items for your project.

Note: Please be safe while using equipment! Wear safety goggles and if needed, gloves, clamp the material down, always cut away from yourself, ensure that your range of motion does not contain any obstructions, and score a piece before cutting through it.
Drills
We have multiple drills, hand drills, and drill bits available. If you are unfamiliar with using a drill, please check out this videoand ask a Makerspace Operator for assistance.
Dremel
We have hand dremels, a dremel drill press, and a variety of dremel bits. These can be used on a variety of materials including wood, metal, plastic, and glass. If you are unfamiliar with using a dremel or want to learn more about how it can be utilized in a project, ask a Makerspace Operator!
Saws
We have jigsaws (pictured on the left), chopsaws (on right) and hacksaws (on bottom). For information on which will suit your project needs better and how to operate these tools, ask a Makerspace Operator.
